8 June 09 :: Escapade to Mummy's hometown!

I just reached home yesterday night after spending the whole of last week in KL! Our whole family went back to Mummy’s hometown to visit with family and friends.

It was the longest car ride I’ve ever had – 4 hours non-stop driving. Daddy said I was a good girl because I didn’t fuss a lot in the car. It was quite simple, really. I just alternated between sleeping and eating. Not to mention Daddy was playing my favorite songs by MLTR and Jason Mraz. It’s a very good way to pass the time.

Anywayz, while up there, Mummy brought me to meet my aunts and Por Por Kim on one of the days. They were there in KL too, for some reason. So we went to Midvalley and did what all girls do when they are together – Shop and Eat! I was actually feeling warm and comfy in the car, so entering the cold shopping centre was like suddenly opening a fridge! Brrrrr. It kinda startled me out of my slumber. Mummy put me in the stroller to keep me warm until I fully woke up, and then it was play time!Gu Jie Kim pampered me with lots of huggles.
Here I am, wearing pink and fresh green...( My aunties felt I looked very adorable in this position)She brought me on a tour of the shopping mall as we walked around...

Then Mummy and the rest decided to eat some yummy yoghurt desserts! She and Gu Jie Kim had fun taking pics of themselves.
Again.. (they scared me for a moment)And again… acting cute!! Por Por Kim and Gong Gong Josh sat at their own couple’s table with the bucket seats or whatever you call them.
I was feeling quite fussy, but Gu Gu Em walked around with me and sang some songs that she made up on her own just to entertain me. It was - entertaining. At some parts, I hummed along with her too, just to keep HER entertained.

There were once or twice when I was waving my arms around that my hairband fell down over my eyes, which the rest found very hilarious. I guess it must have looked kinda funny...

Oh, and and and, I've finally learned how to smile! It took some practicing, and several times my smile got stuck (if you know what I mean) when I forgot how to release my face muscles after smiling, but Mummy was very encouraging to laugh it off and not make me feel too embarrassed. Now I'm practicing lifting my eyebrows too, to look surprised when people say hi to me. ^_^

More next time, I need more sleep to recuperate from the long ride back home!~
