4 Dec 09 ~ Cha-bor Time

Just now I was in Third Heavens when Nacho suddenly started barking. It startled me until I couldn't go back to sleep! So I decided to get up and check out what Grandma Kim and Mary were cooking for dinner.

There was-er, were (WHATEVER!) cereal prawns, chicken stiw, and some white round things which they dipped in honey. Grandma Kim said it was sotong balls.

Then I heard the gate open, and I went to check out who was home. It was Gu-gu Em, just back from work! She was so happy to see me. She said that she never see me for "so long." (actually it's just two weeks because last weekend I was up in KL with Mummy and Daddy..but-yeah. Time is relative to relatives, I guess)
She turned on my favorite Tong Hua music on her phone and then let me play with it while sitting next to her. But after a short while, she gently took it away from me and put it out of my reach. I dono why, but she was saying something like "cannot bang my phone, dear." She didn't realize that I was just checking to see if it was shock-proof.
Anyway, she was showing me how the camera works, so we practiced a self-shot. Obviously I wasn't prepared for the shot la. I didn't know there will be a sudden bright light that flash at me mah.
Oh, and we also checked out what was the latest updates online. You know, facebook, blogs, email..all the high-tech stuff. She let me listen to Time for Miracles by Adam Lamb something on Youtube. The title sounds good enough, but it does seem rather weird to me to hear him singing a love song. I mean, a straight guy singing it is fine, but..a GAY? Looks like it's a pretty mixed up world I live in. Bleah.

We didn't take many more pics of our Girl Time after that, but that's OK. Coz the happiest moment of my day arrived soon after - Mummy and Daddy coming to fetch me! I lurve them SO MUCH. <3

22 Nov 09 ~ Laughter is the best Medicine!

At dinner just now, I was bitten by the Laughing Bug.

Everything that everyone did was just soooo heelarious!!! I decided not to hold back, just laughed my head off. Or, as everyone likes to say, Laughed Out Loud.

12 Nov 09 ~ Daddy's 26th Birthday!

Happi birthdae to yew,
Happi birthdae to yew,
Happi birthday to Dadddyyyyyy,
HAPPI BIRTHDAE TO YEW!

So we brought Daddy to eat crabs for a special birthday dinner treat! It's a very messi dish, they have to use their hands to eat it and there's shell and stuff too. It smelled good and looked good, but I don't know whether it tasted good or not. Daddy wanted to let me try, but Mummy said, "Chilli crab? Cannot!"
Aniway, here's me and Mummy. I'm smiling coz I just had a super full meal.. I managed to finish the WHOLE bottle of food! Grandma Kim was so amazed, and Mummy quite happy.

Daddy enjoying his birthday crabs!
Look. Just like what I said. So messiiiiiii!!!

Uncle Tom and Gu-gu Em were having a good time too.

They ate so long, it was almost my bedtime already, so Mummy fed me my milk as well so that I could knock off first once I wanted to.
Kor Niel was very farnie... These few days, whenever people take photo of him, he closes his eyes! Grandma Kim had to take so many times with him to try and get a "proper" shot.
The guys were trying to be hero.
He was supposed to hold his ears!
Chilli crab, the all-time Singaporean favorite delicursi. (I DONO HOW TO SPELL THAT WORD LAH!)
Fried chicken with Thai sauce... the rest said it was really good too.
HAHAHA. Actually, I really dono what was so funny also....
Me and my Grandmas. They couldn't get over my beanie cap. I couldn't wait to get out from under it.
Look at our expressions! Priceless, yes? :D

I'm not too sure what happened after dinner. The rest of the family were discussing about some dessert and stuff, but it's just a blank space in my memory coz I fell asleep in the car on the way back...

I think Daddy enjoyed himself, though.

And of course I did too. I love hanging out with Mummy and Daddy and the relatives!

8 Nov 09 ~ Cousin Fun!

Por Por Susan and Kor Daniel came down from KL to visit us for a few weeks! We've been having loads of fun together. It's so so fun to hang out with people who are around your age, if ya know what I mean. They think the same way as you, they're not ALWAYS looking out for you the way Mummy and Daddy do, and they're always ready to play.

Last Sunday evening, after they arrived here, the relatives came by for dinner.
I'm so happy to have someone around to play with!
See? He's so cheeky, I'm sure he has a lot of little tricks up his sleeve to teach me!
He kept distracting me when we supposed to be getting ready for dinner.
Then all the Aunties and Uncles said we look very cute together, so they asked us to take some pictures.
Kor Niel likes the camera, I think.
He pretend wan! Actually he can keep his eyes open! Then he leaned forward and nearly blocked my face from the camera also...

<3
Kor Niel and Uncle Ben
All the delicious-smelling food that Por Por Susan spent the whole day cooking for the family dinner! But Mummy didn't let me try, even though it smelled so good. I'm still just learning how to eat solids only.
My two doting grandmas :)
I was getting tired and grumpy, so Daddy carried me around for a bit. He's so strong, he can carry me with one hand like as if I don't weigh anything!~
My heroes~~

By the time the rest finished dinner, it was time for me to shower and sleep first.

Por Por Kim and Mummy got me into my nighties and then it was Bedtime Story-Telling Time! Mummy likes to tell me fun stories before I go to bed. It's our special time together, and I look forward to it every night! :)

P.S. Daddy's birthday is coming up wealli soon! I'm tryna think what to get for him. Any ideas, anyone?

31 Oct 09 ~ The Day is cold, and dark, and dreary

Finally after a busy few weeks, my gu-gu Em managed to get up the movie she promised to make for me! It's here for you if you wish to see.

I actually have several things on my mind to say, but as the clock is fast approaching my bed-time, I shall post-pone it till the next entry. Mummy is calling me to get to my bed cot, and Aunty Mary has already prepared my milk. I need to get a good rest because tomorrow is Sunday and we'll be going to church! I'm looking forward to meeting my other friends in the Cry Room to play with them.

Enjoy the video then and nitez!~

8 Oct 09 ~ I'm a big big gal in a big big world

I was waiting for everyone to get home for dinner last night. They all took so long, I couldn't wait any longer and finally ask Grandma Kim to feed me my dinner first. Then a few minutes after I drank my milk and was about to fall asleep, Gu-gu Em and Shu shu Tom walked in. My hopes of catching a nap flew out of the window as we jumped into some active heart-stopping games!
Me and my doting Auntie
Yes, are you talking to me, Shu shu Tom?
Shu shu Tom multi-tasked - he played with me and watched TV at the same time~~
Finally Daddy's back from work!!!
And Mummy toooooooooo!!!
I was so so so happy...
Mummy and I immediately started playing one of our favorite games.
Yo. Yup, that's me. Avril the Ah Lian.
Discussing with Daddy something important
Believe me not, I may only be five months old but my tooths - teeth - eh, wadeva those white hard thingys in my mouth are called have made their appearance!
Shu shu Tom was showing some short movie clips on his lappy at the end of the dining table and I couldn't see :( Made me have to lean forward and straiinnnnnn my eyes..
Mummy said my nails needed trimming or I might accidentally scratch my face. I didn't quite enjoy the process, though. It looks dangerous. What if the metal clipper grabs my finger instead of my nail only??

We actually took several videos together too, Shu-shu Tom and I, but I don't think they're ready for uploading yet. Maybe next time! Right now, though, it's time for bed.

"Goodnite, peewee!"

19 Sep 09 - The definition of Xiang Soh!

SO.

We were at TCC this afternoon. We being Mummy, Gu-gu Em, and Gu-jie Kim, of course. And they were busy discussing about something, going on and on and getting really worked up about it! I could just hear the excitement in their voices, and they were scribbling furiously in their notebooks and referring to their phones and stuff.

I wasn't involved in the discussion, though. Not that it really bothered me...I was pretty bored by it, actually. All I wanted was my milk.
So Mummy let me sit on her lap, and I took an early dinner.
Warm milk to drink, Mummy all loving and comfy, and a drowsy drizzly afternoon - what more could you ask for?
Visiting Third Heavens!:)

8 Sep 09 - Little by little, every day...

Tonight was family dinner at Grandma Kim's house again. Uncle Ben and Gu-gu Em exerted themselves to keep me entertained. They actually made me giggle several times. And then when I laughed, they laughed too. I didn't know that laufter is so infectuaous! Anyway, want to see some pics that Gu-gu Em took?
Check out my mouth! I just learned a new ADULT facial expression. It's called "pursed lips"...

Gu-gu Em & I were playing peekaboo over Daddy's shoulder.

The little unhappy princess... I want Mummy!
Happy-faced again after Gu-gu Em made me lauf. Everyone keeps saying I look alot alot alot like my daddy when he was a baby...whaddya think?:)

Time to go home and SLEEP!!!~ (Daddy needs some rest too..he looked so tired!)

Hummm, you don't think that was enough pics? Ok then, here's some more random pics from Mummy's camera!
Please lurve me...
I luv Daddy!
Guess which piece of luggage is tagged "Fragile: Handle with care!"?
Daddy & me time while Mummy was shopping for shoes!
And finally, our most beautifullest family photo, taken on Mummy's birthday trip to Phuket!:)

I must confess that I've been giving Mummy and Daddy very little sleep these last few nights. Can't help it le, because half-way through the night (well at least to me it was minimum half-way through the night already; Daddy said it was more like every two hours), I would wake up feeling super hungry. And then of course I would ask Mummy whether I can eat something. So sometimes she will let me eat, other times she will try to pacify me and distract me so that I don't think about food...

But it is hard.

Growing, mah. Heehee.
