I was wondering why Daddy, Mummy, and all my aunties and uncles were so happy the other day when they got home from work. As each person stepped in through the door, the rest who were already home would ask him or her in a chorus, "Have you seen it??"
It was quite funny to see them poring over a single newspaper article from the zao bao, or Chinese newspaper for two reasons. Firstly, they NEVER read chinese newspapers. And secondly, why should a simple piece of paper - a cheap, recycled one, at that - excite them so much?
Then my Gu Gu showed it to me and I was stunned.

Who took my picture and posted it in the newspaper??? GOLLY. Talk about people's privacy, people. You mean I can't even take a stroll in the park in my rompers without someone taking photo of me and putting it in the news? Oh wellz. But Mummy and Daddy look quite happy with it so I guess it must be ok. And the picture above my one is of Daddy and my gu-gus and shu-shus, all blading together. It's some contraption of a boot on wheels, but they do go pretty fast. I like it best when Daddy carries me and glides around though.. feels like I'm flying!
Anyway, after dinner, I played with Gu-Jie Kim on the bed..
It was fun!
A special smile for Gu-gu Em who was taking pics of us..
By the end of our games session, I was famished. Finally some dinner! NOW we're talking...
Burping Session...This is what you call Mummy-and-kid-bonding-time.
I didn't manage to last half-way through it, though..so Mummy laid me down on Por Por Kim's giganticulous bed to sleep some more.
Zonked out with the whole bed to myself!
Ta-da! Back on my feet again...
Mummy is worried that I'm trying to skip the Crawling Stage to go straight to the Walking Stage. Ok, Mummy, I'll try to take things slow. But it does seem like a waste of time to crawl if you can start walking immediately right??
More next time... I want my supper!
